Applicants must demonstrate the following requirements before authorization can be considered.
- Institutional Legitimacy: The applicant must be legally registered and have a clear governance structure.
- Professional Expertise: The applicant must have qualified experts in forest therapy, public health, forestry, ecology, psychology, education, certification, or related fields.
- Independence and Impartiality: The applicant must have mechanisms to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure independent assessment.
- Administrative Capacity: The applicant must be able to manage applications, documentation, review procedures, communication, records, and reporting.
- Quality Assurance System: The applicant must have clear procedures for reviewer training, decision-making, appeals, complaints, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
- Alignment with ICFT Standards: The applicant must agree to apply ICFT standards, criteria, procedures, and certification guidelines consistently.
- Ethical and Ecological Commitment: The applicant must support ICFT principles of ethics, safety, cultural respect, ecological responsibility, and public benefit.
